    Xbox 360 controller wired to PC windows 10


    I cannot seem to get my controller to connect to my PC properly. I see that the driver is installing. I have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times. When I load Killer Instinct to my PC. the only option is to use my keyboard. (I do not know if you have
    ever tried to play a fighting game on a keyboard. It is hard to do.) Is there any other folks having this issue? Any fixes? I was hoping that I could use my Nvida shield controller or ps3 (using DS3 tool) none seem to want to work.

    Good evening (from Slovakia)! I want to buy an XBox 360 Wired Controller for my PC and my question is: Can I use a normal XBox Wired 360 controller (which is given to XBox 360s) on Windows 10, or I have to buy a new one specialized for Windows 10?

    Are you sure the Xbox 360 is a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not connected by a separate cable like the play and charge cable? If it is the play and charge cable, it will not work on Windows 10, as it only charges the batteries on a PC. If it is a actual
    wired controller, then Windows 10 should detect and then download the drivers if needed.

    Are you trying to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your Windows 10 PC or is it a wired controller? If it's a wired one, here are the steps to

    calibrate your controller with your Windows PC.     You'll want to follow those steps and be sure that everything is set up correctly and try again.

    Both wired and wireless Xbox 360 controllers work on Windows 10. Wired is just plug and play while wireless controllers need a receiver. I know 360 controllers work as I've used them on my own gaming PC running the latest version of Win 10.
