    New release, old problems with Xbox One Controller

    This is a driver problem. I always had this problem with Xbox One Wired Controller.

    The driver installed when I plug the controller, doesn't work. The controller appears with the "danger" icon in device manager and the white led on it doesn't turn on. I had to manually install an old driver version to make it works.

    Now, I hoped with new Windows update, things would change, but nothing. Now it says driver version "10.0.14393.0", but still doesn't work and I have to install old drivers. :S

    Anyway, installing old drivers make the controller works in all games and apps, EXCEPT Windows Store games and apps. It doesn't detect it. With games on Steam, Origin, etc..it works great. This is odd. Microsoft controller that works in every program except

    I also tried to re-install Windows 10 from scratch, but nothing.

    Xbox 360 controller, works fine with Windows Store apps and games.

    Wireless Xbox Controller For Windows

    Hi,

    I'm planning to buy another controler to play games along with my sis. However, I'm confused about something. Only Xbox controller available in all my accessible stores online/offline are

    Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows     - my understanding is that, for the controller to work on Windows I'll have to use the USB receiver that comes with it, but for Xbox I can use it exactly the same as the other

    Xbox controller     that came with the console without any USB attachment. Is that right? or will the Xbox console also require me to use the USB attachment for the Xbox Windows controller to work?

    Are you trying to connect a wireless Xbox 360 controller to your Windows 10 PC or is it a wired controller? If it's a wired one, here are the steps to

    calibrate your controller with your Windows PC.     You'll want to follow those steps and be sure that everything is set up correctly and try again.

    PS4 controller work around

    unfortunately as ps4 and 5 controller don't use xinput they wont work these days, ps controllers work fine with most other games on pc except xbox provided content, ds4 sometimes works with windows store and xbox app games, in regards to using it over the xbox companion app, then your now out of luck and microsoft are a bit petty.

    I have a xbox game pass but unable to find my device when trying to install game, while it is there in my account's device list.

    Sorry to say that the gamepass work only for xbox one and on Windows for games play anywhere titles.. It wont work on the 360...
