Xbox 360 controller support in Gamepass games

So i recently got into gamepass to try out some new games, but for the most part the controller support for the X360 is very broken. Some examples i've got are Yakuza 0, Bloodstained and Darksiders 3.

For some reason, if you launch the game with the controller connected it isn't recognized, so i just unplug/plug it again. The problem is: this only works the first time the game is launched, right after download. For the other gameplay sessions i tried
to launch the game then plug the controller countless times, saw something about fullscreen/windowed mode to always make sure the game screen is "clicked", couldn't access the game's files to add X360ce, etc.

Finally, i tried some other controller which supports Xinput and Dinput, but the problem persists, even more so with the Dinput mode, because with the Xinput mode i can tell the game can recognize something. Certain games have a "press any button" screen,
and if i press 'A' it works, but outside of that its broken.

The controller is fine too because i played Halo MCC, Tomb Raider and i use it to navigate the 'xbox console companion' app.

Everything being said, is this something to do with Gamepass for pc still being in beta? and can the users expect a full support of the X360 controlller when its out of beta?
