Xbox 360 controller software not compatible with my PC!

Guys I was trying to connect my Xbox 360 controller to my PC, so I opened the article of how to do that. the software of it isn't
with me, so i opened
that microsoft site for softwares, and I found out that there is no software for my Windows 8.1 (64 bit)! When will there be a software for it?

I need a reply from you ASAP.

Xbox 360 controller not found in "joy.cpl"

Hello Friends

I hope you can help me with my problem.

I want to play GTA 4 with my wired Xbox 360 controller. But i can's link the controller zu my PC!

First i installed the Microsoft Xbox 360 Accesoire software.

But when i open "joy.cpl" the controller does not appear...!

Please help me, thank you very much.

Xbox 360 wireless controller for windows 7

Hi,

I need to get an adapter and new wireless xbox 360 controller to hook up with windows 7. Will an old xbox 360 wireless controller be compatible with the latest version of the adapter? Is this all I need to hook up my controllers with my pc?

yeah downloading now I jus need to find that software that allowed me to use my XBOX 360 controller on my PC

I will definitely be getting the new console, but will it still have compatibility issues with the Mortal Kombat Klassic limited edition fightstick? I had gotten the Xbox version because it is also compatible with windows, but after it powers on my new
Xbox One S, the light goes dim and the controller doesn't work. I guess Xbox One S is incompatible with the Xbox 360 controllers? I need some way of playing my Xbox one copy of Mortal Kombat 11 I purchased digitally on my pc? I'd rather just use the controllers
with the new Scarlett console and also all of my Xbox 360 games like MK Kollection. The controllers are excellent, but unfortunately I don't know if the new system will be compatible with pc or 360 controllers. What I'd like to do is play pc games as well
using the system.

No. The Xbox 360 controllers use the Xinput API which is the same thing Xbox One controllers and other Xinput compatible controllers use.

For Xinput compatible controllers from other manufacturers, Windows 10 will either see them as an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One controller, it depends on the age of the controller.

Some steering wheels do not have the required software installed to be able to play on Xbox 360 or on the PC.

It depends if the producer of the steering wheel wants it to be compatible with both systems.
