Xbox 360 Controller on pc with adapter

So i bought me today an xbox 360 wireless adapter for my Pc and im allready fighting like for 2 hours with it.

First i tried to install the driver from the CD and try it out - it didnt work, then i tried it just as the guy in the video described it, but this didnt work either .



My Problems is that at 2:12 he has " Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Version xxx " standing there but if i do the same as he did, there just stands " box 360 Controller for Windows" without the Version.

If I own an Xbox 360E and an Xbox ONE wireless controller with a wireless pc adapter can I connect the Xbox ONE controller to the Xbox 360 through the pc adapter?
