Xbox 360 controller flashing lights

Ok, after 5 hours of finding out how to post a thread, my controller is not working correctly. It flashes randomly, and I mean randomly. It reads 1st player normally, then does the 4 lights thing, then switches to 2nd player, then back, 3rd, 2nd etc, etc...
can someone tell me what is going on?

• One flashing light (Support guide)
  

• Two flashing lights indicate that your 360 is overheated and needs to cool down (Support guide)
  

• Three flashing red lights (Support Guide) indicate a Hardware failure
  

• Four flashing red lights indicate there might be a problem with the A/V cable (Support Guide)

Oh, this also happens on my PC and it actually crashes my PC, and I can't play garry's mod with a touchpad.

 

That sounds strange.

Do you have anything close to your Controller or PC that send out a similar signal?

Or is anything in the way.

Did you try out a other controller?

Are you using a wired or wireless controller?

 

I was using a wired controller and I have no battery packs to test out the other controllers but I am positive it is a problem with my controller
