    Xbox 360 console update error


    I have been trying to use by Xbox 360 manufacturing year 2012. When I start the console it asks me to run an update. Initially I tried running an update through a game disk but it gave an error and said that first I need to update the console before running the CD. Then I tried through internet. The console got connected to the modem and the modem to internet. However, it says that the internet could not connect to Xbox Live and the console needs to update. Then I tried to download the update on my PC through Xbox website but they say that 'Xbox 360 support content is no longer being maintained. If you need more info about your Xbox 360 console, visit the Xbox forums.' So I tried to download some updates through other websites and found two updates numbered 17559 and 17544. However these two also don't work when connected to the console and a message is displayed 'Can't process the update. If the problem persists go to www.xbox.com/support. Status code: 3CD6 - 488 - 1600 - 267F - C000 - 0185. Has anyone faced a similar issue and knows how to resolve it?
