Xbox 360 Connects to the Internet but not Xbox Live

Starting yesterday my Xbox 360 has not been able to connect to Xbox live before then i had no problems connecting and no settings were changed in my network and I have tried power cycling my modem several times and resetting the network setting back to
factory default but it still will not connect. My Xbox also freezes when trying to sign in at the dashboard. Can someone please help this is getting very agrivating.

Xbox 360 Internet connectivity Problem

I am trying to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. Before I install the new update, the xbox internet works fine. But, after the update my xbox either does not connect to the internet or it says that the xbox 360 will connect to the internet but, xbox live
won't connect properly or something like that. I can only connect to the internet by using my laptop to share the connection. So does anyone have any idea to fix this? Thanks.

My xbox live for 360 Has not been working since last night, I can connect to the internet but not Xbox Live and it says xbox live is working but it wont let me connect to Xbox live

 

the same thing happens to me,since thursday(25) my xbox has not been able to connect to xbox live

 

Have you also tried resetting the router to factory defaults?

Sometimes a router can just go bad and a factory reset will fix it

Just make sure your xbox is switched off while factory resetting the router

 

yes I've tried, but it seems the problem is microsoft and my internet provider

 

i tried both resetting my router and modem nothing seems to work

 

Start by resetting your wireless settings to factory settings then power cycle both your console and router/modem/gateway and then manually setting the wireless settings when you try to reconnect.

 

i do not connect wirelessly i connect through an ethernet cable. Also, i have already tried power cycling and resetting the to default settings thanks though.

 

I have the same issue. I can't sign in on my 360 but my xbox one works just fine. I don't think it's a problem on my end.

 

I can't connect to xbox live party, i can't see someone profile and i can't send messages to other people...

What the **** is this ?

It still does not work for me. I have tried all the things mentioned, power cycling, router resets, factory resets...etc. I have run network tests, everything's fine. I have an internet connection and I can sign in and out of my xbox one but not my 360.
Any ideas?

 

Actually I have had lots of problems today with XBox Live.

I bought my xbox couple of days ago and today I first time used network so I cannot say if that problem has occured before or not. Network seems to work, but XBox live drops on and off randomly.

I connect using ethernet cable. Cable is fine, also routers (I unplugged cable from xbox and use it on pc -> no any kind of network problems). Also problems occurs randomly on Xbox. Site says that all services should be fine, but when I connect -> it takes
long time and randomly it fails but minute later it might connect. Also connection between Internet and XBox live seems to have issues sometimes.

So, there is something wrong at least here, even all statuses shows "up and running".
