    xbox 360 connecting video and audio


    I am living the qarantine in Italy so i would like to use my old xbox 360 and connect it to old monitor with dvi port.

    I have the hdmi cable and av cable, i would like to use hdmi to dvi port on monitor for video channel.

    And av for audio to bose 321.

    Is it working if i use both hdmi for video and av for audio, or 1 deactivate the other one? Other ideas?

    HDMI to DVI adapter cable not working for me

    You cannot use a DVI port and adapter to connect an HDMI cable to your console. DVI ports do not support the HDCP protocol. Try another cable, such as an Xbox 360 Component HD A/V Cable or a VGA cable.
