xbox 360 charger not charging battery.

my xbox 360 battery charger (not charge and play) everytime my battery's empty and i put it into the charger it gives me a green light (which i believe to mean FULL) when it's empty.. i already reset'd the logic board and discharged what ever remaining
power was left but now even when it's empty i get green light.. note: 2 lights green: full red:charging.. anyone else had this problem and knows who to fix it?

nyko xbox one controller docking station

My son has has the Nyko charger for Xbox 360 and Its about the same design......I don't like it, doesn't seem like the batteries hold a good charge and there is a weird gap at the bottom that keeps the charging contacts from lining up correctly. He uses a penny to fill the gap so the battery lines up.

I have the Energizer Charge station for my Xbox One and love it, bought it at launch a year and a half ago and the batteries hold a long charge still. I had one of these for my 360, so I knew it would be great.

Not sure about USB charging, but Im guessing those batteries aren't all that great.

I use the Microsoft Quick Charge Kit (the one that you can plug 2 in the same time). One of my old Microsoft White rechargeable has been doing that for a while. The battery is more than 6 yrs old so I think it is dead. The charger works with the other batteries
fine.

Xbox 360 Black Play and Charge Kit from microsoft. comes with a rechargable battery and usb charger. like $15 on amazon.

That would depend on the batteries. If they are standard AA batteries, recharagable or not, then they cannot be charged in the controller. Rechargable AA batteries need to be charged with an AA battery charger. The only battery that can be charged in the controller is the Xbox play and charge battery.

No more difficult than any other NiMh battery, but I've never failed to revive a pack using the play and charge cable. The stand alone charger tends to be more fickle. Besides, not many people will have a charger capable of deep cycling a battery.
