Xbox 360 cd player that does not work

Hello,

It's been several years since I have my Xbox 360 S 250GO. Until now I had no problem. Except that the Cd Player does not want to play the games. It marks: "Disc not recognized".

I wanted the repaired by the microsoft site and I was asked to go through the forum because it is guaranteed.
I am ready to pay the repairs following the price of the repair.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

As of April 2016, Microsoft announced that they would no longer manufacture the Xbox 360 console. Shorty after that announcement, they stopped servicing the consoles altogether.

Unfortunately, there is no longer a way to authentically get your Xbox 360 console from Microsoft.

I'm sorry about any confusion this might have caused.

Hey!

Unfortunately xbox stopped repairing and servicing xbox 360's.

My advice would be to see if a local game shop can fix them etc or maybe treat yourself to a new xbox 😁

Hi there,

In addition to the other post in this thread, the only other advice I can give, is to take your console to a local repair store. If you do not have one, I would consider investing in a new console.

Hey BolderDash96, have you tried ripping another CD to your Xbox 360? If that works, it may be the CD. If your Xbox 360 does not copy the second CD, it may very well be your disc drive. Which I would then suggest you follow the link from Mythic xSagex
