XBOX 360 can't connect to xboxlive.com anymore

Hello to all,

started having trouble with an update first with the following error code:

Error xxxx-xxxx-xx8x-xxxx-8007-2746

I've ressettet everything, formatted the hard drive, but the problem persisted. Did everything told in the:

Status Code xxxx-xxxx-xx8x-xxxx-8007-2746 | Error Code Lookup Tool | Kinect Sensor Error Codes

I could do an update with the USB-Flash. But now when I start the xbox a message box pops up telling:

"Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen

Eine Systemaktualisierung ist für die Anmeldung bei xBox Live erforderlich, aber die Aktualisierung ist zurzeit nicht verfügbar. Wenn das Problem weiterhin bestehen, besuchen sie www.xbox.com/support"

translated to English:

"Update failed

A system update is required to log in to xBox Live, but the update is currently not available. If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support".

When I do a Xbox Live Connection Tests, the error persists, and the message above pops up again, but after clicking "OK" another message pops up:

"Test fehlgeschlagen

Mit der Verbindung ist ein Problem aufgetreten. Versuchen Sie das Problem zu beheben."

Englisch:

"Test failed

A problem has occurred with the connection. Try to fix the problem."

There are 2 Options:

1. disconect power of router/modem for 5 Minutes, and conect again. There is a help link to www.xbox.com/connection-help (that link returns a 404 not available page)

2. Set portforwarding on my router. So for the test y placed the xbox as a DMZ on my router, exposing it as a host.

This didn't work also.

After clicking and trying almost every possible thing in the xboxlive-support page, I ffollowed all the steps through to the tracing section to tracert.xboxlive.com server. Seems that the server being traced is not responding. Please see last steps of the
tracert in the image attached.



Hope I can get some help somewhere somehow.

Old School X-Box

The old Xbox (the one before the 360) can't connect to live anymore, Microsoft turned off support for the old Xbox some time ago

 

Being prompted for Microsoft account password to sign in every time.

Iam having this crisis, and am about to lose my mind! What setting are you speaking of, and on what system- xbox 360 or microsoft/xboxlive.com???
