Xbox 360 cant add my son to family settings as wont confirm my xbox logon

Hi I just tried that it came up with the same error as before 801540FE it just won't complete the final part of the process, after I select accept it try's to kick in but 20% up the progress bar the error code above appears, very depressing especially that
xbox coild not fix. Feel like throwing it through the window.

My son said he logged on and went to My Account, then Security Family and Forums, and Xbox 360 settings, but Xbox won't let him to change the settings. Xbox said like this:"You want to change your privacy and online safety settings, but you’re unable to
make the changes."

Then i tried to log on with my account (Parental Account). Then i went to My Account, Security Family and Forums, Xbox 360 Settings for my son's account, and i have changed his Xbox 360 settings, then i clicked on "Save" button. But when i check his Xbox
360 Settings, the settings i made was gone, and the settings turned back just like before i change. I tried 5 times but it still the same. And my son still can't accept any friend request.

Ok, I just want to see if I got this straight...On the Xbox at my house I logon with my live gold account. That is what my son plays under for all his games. Everything should be saved to the cloud. On the new Xbox does he also logon with my live gold
account, or does he need his own account? I don't have any family thing setup as my Xbox is always logged on with my live account. Last, if he can just logon with my live account on the new Xbox do I need to be logged off on the one at my house? I'm not
sure I understand the "home xbox" setup.

I am having the same issue with my family account...and I am the parent. I can logon to Xbox live and accept the new conditions no problem. When I sign in as my son, it prompts for my credentials to accept the new terms. From the Xbox console it just
keeps prompting over and over. From the xbox.com website it says I've found a glitch in the system. The impact is that my son cannot play xbox with his profile.
