Xbox 360 cannot install update

Today my Xbox tried to install an update but everytime it tried it failed with error : 4467-1600-267F-C000-0185 .

Already try deleting system cache and uninstalling all updates but to no sucess , yesyterday it was working fine , i think there was a new xbox system update release today , maybe it has something to do with it ?

Any help will be much apreciated , thanks .

Cannot install update on xbox 360

I am unable to connect to xbox live despite trying all "solutions" available. Online support has been ineffective and I cannot get a hold of an "ambassador".

I have been trying to do the Update so have now opted to download it and have followed all instructions, including formatting my flashdrive to FAT32, copying the update to the flashdrive, and putting it into the xbox and restarting the unit, etc.

It is not opening the update automatically as indicated in the xbox instructions and I cannot figure out how to find it to retrieve it from the xbox. It shows on my computer, but not on the xbox..

I am so frustrated because 1) I cannot connect to xbox live.

2) I cannot open the saved update which is now on a flashdrive

3) my son cannot play any of his new games which he received for Christmas.

Missing my old atari 2600 right now. None of this garbage.

I'm in the exact same boat, except that mine WILL read the USB, it just won't complete the update. Fortunately I've received two separate error codes, neither of which is recognized by the error code search function on the xbox support website.

But it's all good - I'm almost halfway through my estimated 73 minute wait to speak to a microsoft representative.....

Hey there Fish! Sometimes there are hiccups and the console cannot download the update itself. Usually a manual install clears up the issue though. You can get files and instructions to do this here (support.xbox.com/.../system-update-help).

Have you tried installing them from the xbox 360 os in the game itself to try and register it that way?.

Xbox 360 console has all maps but cannot download any purchases older than 90 days on x box 1 360 has no age limit on purchases it did update mw3 when installed on x box1 but not any purchased maps as they are not on disc
