Xbox 360 boots to Xbox Logo and then crashes

My Xbox 360 is an original white Xbox 360 from launch period and it has worked fine up until a couple days ago. When I turn it on the the screen loads briefly to the xbox logo and then crashes to a black screen. It then will attempt to start again a few
seconds later and get to the logo before crashing again. It does this repeatedly. The Controllers don't connect anymore either they just flash all 4 green lights at the same time over and over again and the xbox itself has no rings at all around the power
button. I tried this with both a wired and wireless controller. Also, there are no red lights only green. I want to know if this is something I can fix myself or if the xbox is dead and in need of repair/replacement. Thank you!

My xbox 360 slim is taking a long time going to the dashboard.

Heat is unlikely. Usually the only few things that the console does during boot up but after the Xbox 360 logo, is load your profile and connect to Xbox Live's servers. If it's sitting on the Logo screen, then it may be heat.

When you start the game are you getting the Xbox 360 logo and boot up screen?

 

have you tried to remove your hard drive?

 

Ya I've tried removing the hard drive and it still does the same thing unfortunately.
