It appears the pricing the Microsoft has stated for the Xbox 360 games on their Xbox.com site and posting at Major Nelson's site do not reflect that actual discount at the store. So, either Microsoft is falsely advertising (and continues to do so after
being notified of the issue) or the Xbox 360 online store has every item on that list with the wrong discount. In all cases the pricing is quite a bit off, not just a dollar here an there. In almost all cases the list of sale items shows up around 30% off
at the Xbox 360 online store when the game is advertised as 67% or 75% or even 80% off at Xbox.com.

Sales and Specials | Xbox Live

Case and point. Red Dead Redemption for the Xbox 360 at Xbox.com is advertised as 67% off. When you click the link you are taken to the Xbox 360 store for RDR where it has a list price of $12.89 and for a sale price of $9.89. Now my math skills aren't
what they used to be but, that obviously it is not 67% off but closer to 30% off.

Another example the Fable Trilogy Pack is advertised at Xbox.com as 75% off but the Xbox 360 store shows on sale for $14.99 from a $20.99 list price. Once again that is not even 50% let alone 75% off.

I have tried over 20 items and every one of the items is incorrect. Either Microsoft is advertising and continues to advertised the wrong price at Xbox.com and the Xbox 360 is the right price (that is considered bait and switch and very illegal). Or the
Xbox 360 is wrong, which according to customer support, is the case and for some reason they can't get their act together and get the pricing right.

I have tried to rectify this situation several times with customer support. The first time I notified the online chat they said they were aware of the issue and to check back in a day. I checked the following day and no difference. Checked the day after
that and no fix was found. Now the last day of the deals and five days later there is still now fix. Plus added to the insult I was dropped twice during a chat to see what he issue was.

Very, very disappointed in Microsoft at this point. I was hoping to update my backward compatible discs to digital versions or replace the discs I no longer have. And with the discs I was able to replace I would have given the physical media to a local
women shelter (where I had donated my two Xbox 360s to)

    :)

Anyone stock up over Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

For 360 I just got both Prototype games and Borderlands (the first) off Amazon on Cyber Monday. Didn't bother with Black Friday since online prices (from merchants) tend to crush store prices and Amazon prices on a regular. The rest of my purchases were Wii U and PS4 games.

One of the prices listed is the sale price for silver members (not the original price), the other is the sale price for gold members. The original price is actually not listed in the store during a sale like this. So the prices are the correct percentages
    off.
