    Xbox 360 & Battlefront Problem


    I bought Star Wars Battlefront for my Xbox 360 S Console, because Amazon posting, and this forum, said it would work.

    I followed all the advice of Mister Gwyther (good step by step instructions), but still couldn't get it to work.

    Is is a disk version.

    I'm using a 360 GB HDD.

    Error just keeps saying Game Error (on top with red X). Then The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again. For more help visit www.xbox.com/support.

    If it's a disk version, do I still have to download something besides the updates?

    Are you sure the hard drive is a 360gb? There are no official Xbox hard drives that are 360gb. If it's not an official MS brand hard drive, it won't work.

    The SW Battlefront 1 and 2 have a xbox one version, while the unleashed are only 360 games, playable on xbox one by backward compatibility.

    No, that's not what I meant. My wording is vague however.

    I meant that downloading in general is possible on my 360, but not on my One. The game I tried downloading on my One was the new Battlefront, on the 360 it was whatever the free game is currently, the name escapes me. I was unable to download the new Battlefront,
    but my 360 had no problems downloading its game. Nonetheless, it's not a matter of backwards compatibility. I literally am unable to purchase anything at all, not a single thing, on the Xbox One marketplace, 360 game or otherwise.
