Xbox 360 battlefield bad com.2 online not working

I downloaded battlefield bad company 2 and tried playing online however it popped up saying 'you don't have the correct permissions to access xbox live funcuality' however I am 18 and so is my account and I do have xbox live gold till January plzz help.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam purchase error

I'm aware that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is having online issues

But I decided to PURCHASE and download the Vietnam dlc to prepare for when the service comes back on. However, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam will not appear in my Battlefield: Bad Company 2 menu.

I'd like to know if there's anyway to fix this.

Make sure you download the VIP pack as well to get online.

I did download that. I have downloaded the full game not bought the disc do u knw how to get online code

 

If you've just turned 18 then you'll need to promote your account to an adult account or any restrictions that your parents placed on it will continue to prevent you from playing.

Please log in to commerce.microsoft.com to check the date of birth of your gamertag. Please note that it cannot be changed. If it shows less than 18 then you cannot promote the account to adult.

If the country you live in does not recognize an 18 year old as an adult then, again, you cannot promote the account to adult.

If, however, you do meet the requirements to promote an account but are having issues doing so then give phone support a call for more assistance.

On basic info it says

Date of birth : 14 December 1995. Which is correct

Gender : male. Which is also correct

Country/region : United kingdom Correct and we over here find 18 as the highest age restriction

Time zone : London, United kingdom (GMT)

 

Ok, but as I said if you cannot update your account using the steps in the link you'll need to contact phone support who will be able to do it for you.

 

Or if you changed the email to get an adult email on your account that doesn't work either

When the original account was made is the birthdate set in stone in the account

Only when tthatage hits 18 or age of majority will the account allow you to promote it not before not by changing the email or the age of the email

 

no the original date of birth is 18 I didn't change anything

 

plus I don't have an adult account on it
