    Xbox 360 Ban


    Today I had the great surprise of turning on my Xbox only to see that it had been console banned. Apparently I had done something seriously wrong and I understand I can't play online anymore, so I went to go play on my sister's 360. Upon turning on the system,
    I was greeted with another message saying that the console was also banned! I can understand one console being banned, but two? That's over $250 down the drain. Now I know it is not possible for the enforcement team to unban a console, but is there some way
    I can be compensated, or at least helped? Because I am highly considering selling my Xbox ONE, switching over to PS3/PS4, and recommending every person I come in contact with NOT to buy Microsoft related products. I'm sorry for the rant, but I am very ticked
    off. Thank you.

    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    Unfortunately no. There is no compensation given to users who receive bans, whether it be account bans or console bans. Users agree to abide by the 'Code of Conduct' and 'Terms of Use' when joining the service. Breaching that contract is a violation on your
    part and does result in this outcome. I know this may not be the news you wanted to hear and you are of course free to do as you wish with your choice in future gaming. I wish you all the best in what ever you decide.

    To find out why the consoles were banned you would need to post here
    forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx

    You will not get any compensation & the only help you can get is being told the reason for the console bans.

    If your account is banned then it's banned from xbox live,not just the xbox 360.

    You wont be able to use it on any xbox live services.

    Hi, the ban only affects the actual console that was banned, you could buy another xbox 360 or indeed the xbox one without risk of the ban carrying over to the new console.

    If your Xbox 360 was bought used its a possibility the console was banned and there isn't a way to un-ban the console .
