Xbox 360 Arcade Overheating

The Intercooler I am using is AC powered so it isn't drawing power from the console. I've been using one for years without problems and bought a new one back in June since the old one was wearing out.

I will try your suggestion about removing the Intercooler, but I'm starting to think it's time to buy a new console.

The intercooler is a 3rd party device and has been known to overheat 360 consoles because they draw extra power from the consoles themselves. Also, because the device is 3rd party they are not supported by Microsoft.

Another possibility would be the fact that you purchased the console used. You don't know how old the console actually is or what issues may have been present before you purchased it.

For now, try removing the intercooler and see if that changes things. If it doesn't you may need to send the console in for a repair or replace it.

Hmm, that's weird. Is it possible for you to check this on the console itself, as games may not always show on the library on the Xbox app? Did they show on the app previously?

Hey, sorry for the delayed response. On my 360 many do not appear in 'My Games,' however if I check under 'Download History' some but not all appear there. There are also some that still appear in my pending Active Downloads as my 360 HDD is full and I never cancelled them/cleared the queue. I don't have any other Xbox account they could be under, haven't transferred licenses, etc. or anything else like that listed in the common troubleshooting steps.
