    Hi,

    I've recently bought a new (old) Xbox 360 (slim) to get some more gamerscore out of some of my old games that never went backwards compatible.

    All games have re-downloaded fine and all the retail titles work as expected, as does Burnout Crash.

    Batman Origins Blackgate Deluxe, although showing purchased on the marketplace, will only boot up in trial mode, telling me to purchase the full game once the intro is complete. When i then press X to purchase it just shows already owned and sends me around the same loop again.

    I have tried to complete licence transfer from the dashboard but it just keeps saying there is a problem communicating with xbox live, even though the console is connected.

    Help please, this is really annoying not being able to play games i've paid for.

    can you use any wireless adapter to connect to the internet or does it have to be an Xbox brand one?

    Your Xbox 360 will very likely only recognise the official wireless adapter or a licensed accessory equivalent and no other ones.

    Same thing that happens with your Xbox Live Arcade and Games on Demand Games on 360 if you change consoles. You can re-download them and transfer the licenses over.

    Hi, you may have a licensing issue with the dlc, which in turn would make it so the game does not recognise the dlc. You need to connect the xbox back to the internet and re-download the dlc, this in turn should update the license, and hopefully your game
    should recognise the dlc for you to play it. If it doesn't work, then a license transfer might be your only option to get the dlc to work.

    I wondered about this to. If that is the solution then in the future when titles are removed from the store due to license issues (like Outrun Online Arcade, Midway Arcade games etc on 360), how would one go about redownloading a title then ?

    When you purchase download content such as Map packs, arcade games, etc, you are given two licenses. 1) Console license- which allows any user on the XBOX 360 console that you downloaded the DLC on access to that content. 2) User license- which gives you
    the right to download that dlc on any XBOX 360 and use that content as long as you're signed in to xbox live. However, I am not sure if this applies to Games on Demand. A little clarification from a moderator would be good right about now.
