Xbox 360, and Xbox One no signal to TV

I had an xbox 360 plugged in HDMI 1 and xbox one plugged into HDMI 2. My sister came to visit and she plugged in her Samsung note 3 so my nephew could watch his movies, into the port using the HDMI cord from my xbox 360. Now my tv shows that the xbox is
plugged in but I am getting the no signal message. I've tried everything, resetting the tv, updating the firmware, bought a new HDMI cord, and even used my xbox one HDMI cord and now both are not showing up. I also did the RT trigger button and hold Y thing
nothing. Plugged both the xbox 360 and xbox one into another TV and still nothing. My sister also used her Samsung on my mothers brand new 60 inch tv and now her DVD player wont work in the HDMI port. what the hell gives?

    :)

Xbox 360 as TV for snap

I held the power button, shutting down the Xbox One.

Turned on the 360, turned on the Xbox One and said snap TV.

It said no signal, so I told it to watch TV [fullscreen] and it still said no signal.

Sounds like your sisters note 3 did something to the tvs in your home. Can you try on a tv that she didnt use the note 3 on?

Already did that after I read one post and still nothing. The TV showed that there was a device in the HDMI port but no video or sound.

Old Xbox live saved games and discs, arcade games, and switching consoles more than once

You can not play 360 games on the ONE, this would include your arcade games. You can daisy chain the 360 through the ONE by connecting the 360 to the TV input on the ONE with an HDMI cable. Then say Xbox go to tv and it will pick up the signal from the 360.
Your account works for both the 360 and the ONE.

Xbox One and watching TV could have been thought through better

    [quote user="kernelpanic67"]

IMHO, I think that watching TV through the Xbox one could have been designed better. Why wasn't the interface designed as pass through? It's not very "green" to have on the Cable box, TV and Xbox one just to watch simple TV.
The Xbox one itself generates a lot of heat. Once the Xbox goes off, you lose the TV signal. If I wanted to play my Xbox 360 (since the Xbox one doesn't play Xbox 360 games) I would need to have my Cable Box (TV plugged
into cable box for power and I could setup the cable box to always have power the the aux power port, but that would defeat the purpose of me using the scheduled power off on the cable box), TV, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on. In addition, today the signal from
the cable box was first stuttering (video and sound kept stopping) and when I turned off and on the cable box, the Xbox didn't see the signal. I was able to get the Xbox to see the signal, but I had to fully power off and pull the power cable out of the Xbox.
I've since reverted back to having my TV on a dedicated input and the Xbox one on its own.

the xbox one does not generate a lot of heat, mine is always cold even after hours of gaming, when watching tv through the xbox it uses less power due to not having to do anything major and will never get to hot.

Xbox One won't connect to tv

Don't confuse what the xbox one will send to signal to vs. what the TV is set to receive.

This is a TV issue based on what signals the TV can receive and how.

Xbox One will not with smaller TVs (32inch and 24inch), but works with big samsung (50 inch)

Hi, the samsung TV is model P2770HD.

The xbox sends a signal and powers the tv on and off, but no video signal.

The xbox is working and the ports on the tv are working (i tried direct tv devices and all the porta are working fine.

The HDMI cable also worked with xbox ONEand another, new TV (samsung smart tv).

    It is an Xbox One.
