Xbox 360 and new HDMI TV

Hi

I have a Xbox 360 and we’ve just bought a new TV with HDMI. I dont appear to have an HDMI port on my Xbox - how do I connect to the new TV? Is there an adaptor and/or cable I can buy?

Thanks a lot for responding,

1. I did try to connect the XBOX 360 for each of the HDMI ports (the TV recognize that something is connected to that HDMI)

2. I did connect the XBOX 360 to two other smart TVs I got and the XBOX works great but not in the QLED tv

3. I did try to replace the HDMI cable, I even connect a new and high-quality cable

4. I did try to change XBOX 360 resolutions, I have trued 1080p, 1080i and 720p

None of the above didn't resolve the issue..

I have a Xbox 360 and I cannot process the new update for the 360 console and I have the Xbox 360 E.

Hi Wendy,

There are AV/RCA to HDMI converters out there that you can find at pretty much any electronics store or online from Amazon. However, I'm not sure if this would even work when using it with the Xbox 360 without the HDMI port.

You may just need to connect the Xbox 360 to your new TV using the connection that is available, but you can try out a converter and let us know if it works.

Yes you can buy a AV too HDMI cable you may also find that your tv has other means of connecting.
