xbox 360 achievements not unlocking straight away

sometimes when i unlock 360 achievements on xbox one backwards compatiablity and see if the score is update it doesnt but when i go onto my gamercard then go back to see how much gamerscore ive got it does update so might there be a problem with the profile
i even get the achievement message showing up but the score on xbox one doesnt change for some reason even when the 360 guide shows the score correctly

Child Of Light Achievements not unlocking.

^In the grand scheme of things I think an achievement not unlocking straight away is not a very big deal, now if you couldn't even play the game then maybe that would be cause for outrage.

If you're having a similar issue, create your own thread and detail the achievement you're having issues with etc.

Online Achievements popped?

I transferred my character from 360 to Xbox one....My online achievements popped straight away....This happened to anyone else?

If I was in that situation I would check this page out
Problems with Xbox One achievements and challenges and see if you could complete the troubleshooting there.

You're also right that it could be something with your profile updating.

I would also recommend maybe removing your profile and redownloading it to your console if your internet access is good. Try the following the steps here and give that a shot too

It has been like this for me for a very long time and it doesn't really bother me as my gamerscore will update eventually. So, it might be just a delay, my guess is that x360 and XOne games have different cloud storages which might explain the delay.

Once again another achievement problem. Destiny I have demolished loads and loads of stuff. I booted up the 360 version the achievement popped straight away but I cant unlock the X1 version.

if you already have gears 1 or 2 achievements then you cant play casual BUT you unlock the achievement straight away for already playing gears before.

This scenario is rather common/normal for the xbox 360 as it sometimes takes servers a while to respond. I've seen them come after some delay (sometimes a day or two) myself when playing backwards compatible games on my Xbox One.

In regards to getting the message you mentioned about last playing a game on another console, do you happen to have your profile on any other consoles, even if they are Xbox One?
