Xbox 360 achievement future

From what i can find, xbox 360 support will end in March 2018, my questions is, will you still be able to get singleplayer achievements after that date, or is microsoft planning to steal a big part of their games that we payed for away from us

I would guess yes but who knows? If they don't, they would upset a of of people.

If anyone can tell me (or feel free to speculate):

When the next XBox is released, what becomes of your 360 gamerscore and achievements? Will we still be able to get them? I sincerely hope they won't all be erased...

There is no official word on if/when the 360 servers will be shutdown so no one can really answer anything about it yet.

 

As far as an educated guess goes, I would imagine "support" means that Microsoft's going to eventually stop warranty service repairs on Xbox 360 hardware soon, since they've discontinued all factory production of new Xbox 360 consoles back in April 2016.

Software support (which includes 360 achievements and Live multiplayer) should continue well past 2018, especially with the fact that Xbox 360 backward compatibility is still quite active on the Xbox One.

There shouldn't be anything to worry about. Keep getting those achievements!
