    Hello. I wonder if anyone can help as I am totally confused.

    I bought my Son a 3 month Gold Live membership a couple of days ago to renew the other one that ran out a few days before that. I bought it from a Game store and got nothing more than a 25 digit code printed on what is effectively receipt paper. We went
    home and it was late so my Son went to bed and the next morning entered the code, but it says it has already been redeemed. I tried it and got the same. We tried doing it through the Xbox One and then through the website. I am baffled as to why it would be
    saying this. The code was generated there and then in the store so I cant see how it could be redeemed. We haven't redeemed it without realising it as have checked the purchase history and it is clear from what my Son have available to him on screen that it
    is not activated.

    Can anyone offer any thoughts or advise. I hope we're simply doing something wrong?

    I recently bought an Xbox One S and 3 months of Xbox Live Gold. But when I redeemed it. It says it will expire in 2 days? And when I try to redeem it again it says it has already been redeemed

    You can purchase him a prepaid code card (that specifically says xbox live gold) at a store or a digital code for gold on a website like Amazon and he can redeem that on his account in the store or you can log onto his account and go here:
    https://www.xbox.com/live/gold And purchase gold for him there.

    If the code has been redeemed you would have to contact the retailer that sold it to you. If it's digital it should already be added to the account or in a message from Xbox Live

    Did you purchase Xbox Live Gold through the Minecraft + Gold page through the Xbox One dashboard, or did you purchase a 3 Month Xbox Live Gold pre-paid code and redeem it? If you redeemed and Xbox Live Gold code, unfortunately you will not qualify for this
    promotion. To qualify for this promotion, 3 Months or 12 Months of Xbox Live Gold must be purchased through the Minecraft + Gold promotion page directly through the Xbox One console with a credit card on file.
