Xbox 1X blank screen

my Xbox 1x appears to be blanking out the screen when I navigate to the TV, Netflix or amazon.

I setup the 1x last night. Everything worked for ~3 hours. Cable to Xbox to AVR to TV. All through HDMI. Went to bed.

Started Xbox through Kinect voice commands. Screen was blank (auto set to go directly to TV).

Reatarted console. Screen was blank.

Checked all connections. Good.

Unplugged and plugged Xbox hdmi. Screen showed for a few seconds and faded to black.

Tried cold reboot to 640 res. Once booted back up could see dashboard. Updated to 1080. Navigated to TV. Went to black.

Hard reboot. See green screen. Get to dashboard. Navigate to amazon (1) or Netflix (2) screen goes to black.

After several attempts now blank screen everytime.

I remember this issue being an old bug that had been fixed with updates. Have you updated your console? If you are in the beta program this could be an error with the software and you would need to report this bug. If your not in the beta program I suggest clearing the cache which instructions can be found via bing/google.

I've had my xbox one for 2 months now and just recently had problems start happening. when booting forza 5 I get no sound then when it get to microsoft studio logo it goes blank. I have been unplugging it for 10 seconds and problem is fixed but it's happened a total of 3 to 4 times recently. this time i tried a digital game when forza didn't work and the digital game worked. after that tried forza again still same blank screen no sound so tried another disc game tomb raider also blank. unplugging system works everytime but has me worried something is wrong with my system since it keeps happening.

 

I have simmilar problem xbox to AVR to TV but mine blinks onk seems to be fine on 1080p and seems to be fine when xbox to TV

 

I’m back in after letting Xbox sit after another cold reboot. Perhaps a patch was uploaded and applied in background already!?

Assume this will die again but will keep this up to date.

 

for me it was the cable from AVR to TV i changed it to better one and it did the tric. i restarted the tv, console, AVR 3 times to see if it would start blinking again but it have not for the 5h that i tested.
