    XBOX 1s Startup


    Before I knew that XBOX Live was down, and while I was getting "the black screen of death" I troubleshooted and was told to factory reset my xbox, which I did. I chose the option that kept all my games
    and apps. My question is, once I am finally able to log back into my xbox live account via my xbox 1 s, will my games still be there with the progress that I had on them before resetting?

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear you are running into this problem, This issue should be resolved at this point. If you are still experiencing these problems go ahead and

    Physically Power Cycle     your console and then give it another try. This should get you past the problem and back in the game.

    My xbox one s is giving me the same issues

    i did the same thing you did reset

    now i can see my dash board but i cannot log in.

    my accounts are showing up but my curser does not move it brings up my accounts but i cannot choose any of them.

    xbox please fix soon.

    Hi,

    That would be a "yes".

    Game progress is saved in the cloud, so even when you did delete all the apps and games the progress will be reloaded (most of the time).

    If you're signed into Live, your games saves are automatically stored on the cloud. So you don't have to back everything up first.
