Xbox 12 months still Purchasable for recurring billing?

Hello All,

I have a friend who bought 12 months of Xbox live Gold a year ago and they are set to run out of Gold in around 11 Days.

I was wondering if Recurring billing would allow them to carry on with 12 months up untill March 31st 2022 or if it would be converted into 4 months of Game pass Ultimate

If they leave auto-renewal on, then yes, it will continue to renew for 12 months.

I already have left Xbox Live Gold for 12 months.

So, On purchasing GPU I will get 12 months of GPU.

Do the recurring billing of GPU will start in the subsequent month of after 12 months?

If your son redeems the 12 month gift card, the recurring billing will be paused for 12 months.

So while you can't exchange Gift cards (unless the store where the card was bought takes them back), you could save the money you usually pay for the recurring billing, and buy him something for that in 12 months.

Hi. I bought my 12 Month Xbox Live Gold card at the time we purchased the xbox.

I got an email from them today and it is now showing recurring billing will start 1st September 2020.
