Xbox 1 youtube app

WTH, why is there no keyboard for the youtube app.it is extremely frustrating searching for something. Not only that, even the smart glass app paired with youtube s useless. Instead of using a keyboard on my ipad, I have nothing. I have to swipe left or
right to move one letter at a time. Fix this please

Youtube App faulty?

No worries peps. I tried restarting my Xbox 360 console launced the app, the app launched, and it crashed my Xbox 360 slim console. Deleted and downloaded the app again and wow, the app on Xbox 360 looks just like the Youtube app on Xbox 1. Still puzzled
why Xbox 360's Operating System didn't ask me permission that there was a Youtube app Update. Must of come out within the last 18 hours cuz it wasn't like this last night.

Can't you just yell at your Kinect to search for a video?

 

You could always hook a keyboard up to your X1, though a onscreen one would be helpful.

Do you have a smartphone? there is a screen (for Xbox 360 and Xbox 1's Youtube App) where you enter the code visit the site on your computer or smartphone, enter the code from what the app says on your console, and you can play videos from your phone or
your PC directly on your console.

I agree I cant seem to use smart glass to type in searches on the console Youtube app. I'm not into USB keyboards. I do wish M releases a chatpad. Not everyone has a smartphone nor wants a USB keyboard which is likely to be BIGGER than the Xbox 360's chatpad.

 

Alternatively, you could do what I do and just visit youtube.com via the Internet Explorer app.

 

If they just made it so you could scroll the letter's quicker it would help massively. As it is, it goes letter to letter way to slowly.
