    Xbox 1 x freezing and wont turn on


    So I bought my xbox 1 x used, it was fine for about a month, then it would start lagging on dashboard or it would have issues during gaming and freeze up to the point I would have to force it to restart,I sent it to a "console repair store"

    They thought it was a hard drive issue, new hard drive Was installed.

    Issue persists any thoughts. I have tried every trick I could find. After a few resets it turns on again but issues still persist. Help

    Hello,

    I had this very same problem, where the console would do this to me, I went to a store with my Xbox X and it was also a Hardrive issue, I'm not saying this is the same problem as what you have, but I'm just giving my input to see if I can't help at all, But for me, it was doing the exact same thing, Dashboard said "Dashboard too long to start" "signing in took to long to start" Games would be slow, everything was slow and being weird, I was told The Xbox one X's Hardrive could easily be knocked out and needs to be replaced, It kept bringing up the System error menu for me, etc, Though, Calling Customer support should help.

    What system software bugs have you experienced so far?

    My Xbox simply wont turn off. I hold Home button on controller, select Console Off and it freezes, then. I have to reboot and then it turns off fine.
