Xbox 1 won’t updated Edge.

Hello. We are using Edge to use our Beachbody access. However, Recently once we log in to Beachbody from the edge browser, we get a notification that we need to update to the most current browser for edge. But then it won’t update Edge once we select the update. So we can’t user the browser. Help.

We have deleted the Rdge content under the user names, turned box off/on and updates are automatic.

Turn off your Xbox and unplug the power cord, then wait for 1 to 2 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the console!

if the issue persists, I would strongly suggest trying the troubleshooting steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear

Then select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If the issue keeps on happening, try to soft reset the console by; Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Thank you for advice . I’ve now managed to install ark but it the old version, had to install off line . Put Xbox 1 back online to do update and it won’t it won’t update .

Nope. It’s effecting everyone, even sites like yahoo won’t work. Theirs is nothing to fix it. I have done everything possible, even factory reset and nope, the new update forced has broken it. They need to let there be a chrome app, a web browser that works. This is terrible advertising for using edge on other devices, it’s rubbish and never fixed or updated, maybe 1x every few yrs they update it
