Xbox 1 wont control tv

Discus and support Xbox 1 wont control tv in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I recently purchased the Xbox 1 system and I followed all the set up directions.     Xbox 1 wont control tv


    I recently purchased the Xbox 1 system and I followed all the set up directions. I have a Westinghouse television model #DWM55F1G1 and I cant pair it. I tried to let the Xbox1 automatically detect the tv. I cleared that setting and tried to manually enter
    the model number but it doesn't confirm the correct number.

    Any suggestions???

    Same problem on me Samsung UE40D5520 volume controls work, but wont' switch TV on or off. :-(

    Switch DVR input when Xbox One is turned on

    Do you have the dvr plugged in to the xbox? If so just say Xbox go to tv. You wont be able to control it with voice commands once it is on

    Switch DVR input when Xbox One is turned on

    Xbox turns on, controllers won't work..... Wired or wireless...

    I just tried all of the video slots in my tv. Nothing comes up on the screen. The controllers will turn the xbox on but still wont sync.
