    Xbox 1 wireless system requires restart every time i turn on xbox 1


    xbox1 has been working flawlessly for 2 months, then the past 3 or 4 days everytime i turn on my xbox1 it fails to connect to xbox 1. when i try to troubleshoot, it detects no wireless signals at all, when i try to test my connect it says the wireless service
    needs to restart, and i say ok, then it connects to my wireless and everything works fine till i turn my console off and back on later, then got to restart the wireless service in the console again before it'll connect.

    every time I turn on my Xbox one, it restarts. It is a pre owned refurbished Xbox one from GameStop that I got 3 weeks ago. Since I got it, it just restarts every time I turn the Xbox on

    have you tried a hard restart

    1)hold xbox button for 10 seconds

    2)unplug power supply for 3 minutes

    3)press xbox button on wireless controller to turn both console and controller on together

    I have the same issue Mister Quimby. Your restart steps are just a temporary solution to a wider spread firmware issue. Please do a deeper troubleshooting case and send patch to fix this. if this is actually a hardware failure, please have Microsoft change
    manufacturing. I may have had mine for a few years, but the above guy that's only had it for a few months indicates it's not an aged-hardware issue.

    When you say it "restarts" do you mean it loads up like it's coming back from a Hard Reset (loads through the long green xbox logo screen before hitting the dashboard)? If so, check the power settings and make sure it is set to "Instant On" and you have
    the option for shutting down hard drive while off unchecked.
