XBOX 1 Wireless Controller repair

Hello,

I bought a Wireless Controller for my PC an the left Shoulder Button is broken, so I want to send it to repair.

The Website sends me to add the Controller, but it wont let me add it.

I read in another article, that I had to add my XBOX first… but I Play on PC. How can I add it, so I can send it to repair?

Hi Floerbi,

You will need to contact customer support, preferably over phone, so that they can set up the controller repair order for you. Xbox Accessories orders require you to first register an Xbox One console since they are accessories meant for the console. However,
since the controllers are compatible with Windows 10 PC's, customer support will be able to work around that if your controller is within warranty. Please follow the steps to speak with someone over the phone:

Sign in at xbox.com.

Select Contact Us.

Choose your category. (In this case, Xbox One)

Select "See other options" when presented the virtual agent

Pick Payment & billing under Account management

Select Show Contact Options

Select to Request a call from Support

Hi,

thanks for the quick response. The Agent sent me two Times to the same Device site, but same Problem as Above.

And if I just change the Tab on the browser, the Agent gets closed and I have to start from beginning...

Contact Us portal to speak with an agent about options to get your controller serviced.

Accessories come with a 90 day warranty, so you have three choices.

1 Go through the repair service

2 Check out the many videos on youtube and have a crack at repairing it yourself.

3 Buy a new one.

I have the same issue. Both wired and wireless controller disconnects with a 1TB XBOX one, started when the console was 2 1/2 months old. Sent it in for repair, came back with same issue. I have tried multiple new controllers, 5 different USB cables,
etc. Its a fundamental issue with some XBOX ones is my opinion. Perhaps the wireless logic is hanging off the USB internally, and the issue is not with the wireless or the usb cables or the controller, but with the USB hub inside the xbox one (on the motherboard).
Dunno. I like the original poster tried everything. Going to use the advanced repair next. After that? PS4, no sh*t. Controller issues are infuriating.
