Xbox 1 Turning Off Random

I've got a xbox 1 used recently. I've known about this issue from the seller thinking I could fix it. After testing it randomly shut off (power). Heat wasnt to high to make me think it's overheating

I've completely opened the xbox up, cleaned, and rewired trying to fix the issue. Power supply also seems fine. I've cleaned it to and no overheating.

Tried different power supplies with no changes so far

Do Xbox 1 overheat when you feel a slight amount of heat coming from the fan area? No where else. No errors during this shutdown just boots up fine

Could the OS itself be causing it? It didn't look fully wiped when I got it (just accounts gone, games seem to be left)

Switch your your Xbox to Power Save mode, this was happening before and some users could fix it when they did what I said

If the great advice given by our mods don't work it might be time to head off to the service center online to get that process started as there might be an internal issue.

Yeah it's shutting off entirely has nothing to do with xbox live or network

Hey there!

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems with your Xbox One console. If you have already gone through the Power Solution troubleshooters on our Support page and the issue has not been resolved. The only other options would be to set up the console
for a repair. Unfortunately being the console has been tampered with the console won't be serviced.

As far as repairing the console yourself, there is not much we can recommend ourselves.

Hello there,

Unfortunately, there is no hardware reset. The only thing that may help is either a full factory reset or

offline update. When you try the soft instead of selecting keep games and apps, select remove everything.
