Xbox 1 to 360 save data

So I started playing a game on the xbox one and wanted to move it onto my xbox 360 and play it there (I dont have ownership of the xbox one). Is there a way of doing that without restarting the entire game on either console? TIA

If it's a backwards compatible game for the One, the save is stored on the cloud and should sync up when you play the game on the 360.

If it's the same game, but the 360 and One versions are considered different, you won't be able to use the same save.

I my idea was:

1. Insert USB stick into Xbox One

2. Copy saved data to USB stick

3. Transfer saved data from USB stick to Xbox 360

But I already failed at step 1. Tried it the easy way but it didn't work out so I decided to give it try here.

how big is the saved data for minecraft xbox 360 if it's 1,5GB+ then it wont save if it's lower then 1.5gb it should just save there but you require a active gold subscription to store saved data in the cloud on 360

Thanks for your post. It looks like a backwards compatible game is giving issues with saving game data, to troubleshoot this, try clearing the locally saved data on your Xbox One console and allowing it to re-sync. To do so, follow the steps below.

Enter Settings for the Xbox One
Select System
Choose Storage
Select Clear local Xbox 360 Storage
Allow the console to restart

This should clear Xbox 360 save data and should allow you to continue creating new save games.

WoT support was more than likely referencing how saved data works on the Xbox One as your saved data is tied to your account and will allow you to play your saved data anywhere as long as you have your account on that Xbox One because the saved data is automatically
saved to the cloud and sync's that data whenever it's needed. On the Xbox 360, if you don't have Cloud storage turned on and backed up then the saved data is specific to the hard drive its saved to. You would need to switch over the hard drives between the
Xbox 360's to play saved data on another Xbox 360.

As far as this issue goes, I will ask someone if they can look into it or at least make them aware WoT on the Xbox 360 is causing errors and sign out issues because of an update. Just to clarify is it only WoT causing this to happen?
