Xbox 1 shuts off at random times

My xbox one tends to turn off by itself at random times. I will be watching a movie from a disc or netflix and when controller shuts off console shuts off. It's not a defective controller because I've tried several. I will be playing a game and the console
will shut off in the middle of the game. There is a solid orange light on the power supply and it is plugged directly into the outlet. What the $&@" is going on with this 500 dollar piece

I need help my xbox one x keeps shutting off randomly i do not have a warranty so i cant just get a new one and i dont have money to spare i can play the game some times but my netflix and youtube, etc. crashes immediately i am furious i feel like i got
ripped off buying this console i tried reseting my console i tried updating offline but it crashes during that as well please help !!!!! P.s Microsoft fix your darn consoles

 

Random Shut Off

Bought the One X after having my original One for two plus years with no issues. The One X from about the second week I had it until now randomly shuts off.......really annoying!! Put a fan blowing across it because I thought it might be getting hot but
hasn’t helped. Pretty disappointed and dissatisfied with the new console!

So we are able to pin point the issue and get it resolved quickly, I have some questions that I would like to ask:

1. About how long ago did this begin happening?
2. Have you cleared your System Cache recently?
3. Is your/Are your controller(s) updated?
4. Is your console in a well-ventilated area free of debris and other heat sources?

I have not cleared my system cache and it states no controller update at this time. I have never updated my controller.. It started happening after the last update.

Clearing the system cache might solve the issue, however, if your console is setup to shut down after a predesignated amount of time, that would be the source of the problem.

Is your console set up to shut down after 1 Hour of Inactivity?
