Xbox 1 (s) power supply?

I have a xbox one (s) that the power light comes on then goes dim and the box shuts down, never gets to a full boot up.. Anybody have any ideas..bad power supply ?

Xbox one S power voltage from Canada? (100-220?) Will be out of country.

IS the built in power supply for the new xbox one S from 100-220? will I have to use my power converter? I know the PS4 has no issues, and I really hope the new xbox 1 s works as well.

If you don't have Xbox 1 yet, wait until the much more powerful Xbox Scorpio is out, which by the way, will be more powerful than the PS4 Neo (or 4.5). Xbox Scorpio will have a faster AMD Jaguar APU, 320GB/s bandwidth which is higher than the is it 224GB/s
bandwidth the GTX 980 has. And 6 teraflops computing power thingy, I heard the Xbox S doesn't have as good ventilation as the original Xbox 1, because the crammed a power brick inside, and like the tiny pen sized wholes punched in as 'adequate ventilation'
were as original Xbox 1's have wider ventilation wholes.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Do you have multiple Xbox One consoles that are having this issue, or is this issue occurring with an Xbox One S? We recommend resetting the power supply for the console, and making sure the console is
plugged directly into the wall. We will provide the steps on how to complete the power cycle. Be sure to let us know the results!

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

1. Unplug the power cable from the outlet. Let it sit for 30 seconds
2. Plug the console directly into the wall outlet
3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the
   Xbox button on your controller.

 

Unfortunately if the power supply has developed a fault (very likely) then your only option to have the console working again would be to register it for a repair through the online service and warranty centre as the power supply is internal and cannot
be replaced (without voiding your warranty and T&Cs).
