    Xbox 1 randomly turning off


    So I don't know if the game I play (Call of Duty Black Ops 3) has to do with it for the fact I haven't played any other game but, ever since I moved my xbox 1 from my dad's to mom's house (1 day) my xbox has been randomly turning off during my game. I looked
    it up and the best It said was to reset the AC adapter which I did or officially turn of my xbox by holding my hand over the power button for 10 Seconds which I also did. That left the only thing being something over heating, it's not the xbox it's self but
    the AC adapted is burning to the touch and I don't know why, it is also silent, I'm not sure If it's suppose to but I don't hear any fan or cooling system. Please help I can barely get past round 20 with out my xbox turning off which usually takes maybe half
    an hour to 45 minutes

    hi, my Xbox keeps shutting off randomly for some reason. Sometimes it comes on ok then after a while just cuts off, then other times it won't come on at all. When it happens there's no lights on at all its like complete power cut

    If you are plugged into a power bar try plugging the console into a wall socket. Also try out other plugs just to be certain it's not a power issue.

    I believe I remember reading somewhere a while back a similar problem someone had. It turns out the plug they were using there was being controlled by a wall switch and therefore not getting enough power.

    It's most likely an issue with your power brick. It will help if your Xbox one is hooked up directly to an outlet and not an extension cord.
