Sold me XBOX one and didn't delete my profile, can I delete now it via a PC or some other way? The new owner is logged in as me playin games and stuff!

if you remove your friends profile and make it back to your profile on your home console do you lose your friends games? does their profile always have to be on your xbox as home console to be able to play their games?

Hey there, the best way would to be recover your tag on another Xbox One and he won't be able to get it back unless he has your account details.

Though if you follow the steps at the link, you can also change your password and sign-in preferences, this should make it a requirement to sign-in with your password and hopefully stopping the other person using your account:

Just solved by Microsoft. Try to remove your profile, completely turn off (unplug) you Xbox for 1 min and then sing in with old profile.

Hey there.

Please try this:

1) Do a power cycle

- Turn off the Xbox

- Remove the power cable for 15 seconds

- Turn it on again

2) Remove your profile from the xbox.

- reboot the console

- Redownload your profile.

I just tried your suggestion:

1/ remove my profile.

2/ reload the xbox one console

3/ re-add my profile

But the problem still here...

provide steps on how to remove your profile and add it back. A corrupt file on the Xbox 360 will be indicated by an exclamation point. If you do a search though the hard drive of your Xbox 360, do you see any corrupt files? We suggest removing any corrupt
files. Especially any corrupt files that are in the profile folder. Be sure to let us know the results!

How to remove your profile:

Launch an Xbox 360 game on your Xbox One
Wait until you get past the Xbox logo and press the
View and Menu buttons at the same time to pull up the Xbox 360 guide
Go to Settings and look for storage settings
Select profiles
Delete your profile(Profile only) Do not delete profile and items

How to download your profile:

Once your profile has been removed, press the View and
Menu buttons at the same time to pull up the Xbox 360 guide
Select download profile
