xbox 1 Power brick doesn't work

I plugged it into a 230v outlet when it was originally made for a 130v volt outlet. I smelt smoke tripped the circuit breaker now it doest work, and xbox support is unreachable.

I know i need a new one but i feel like i wont get a free one shipped to me by microsoft, and its pretty hard to find just the power brick on its own

Can I use an Xbox 360 slim power brick on an Xbox One

So I have not upgraded to an Xbox One yet, but I found one on Ebay for 218 dollars. The reason it is so cheap is because it comes without a controller and the power brick. I can buy a controller no problem, but that leaves the power brick. From what I have seen online, the power brick for the Xbox One has similar jacks to the one on my Xbox 360 slim. I checked online to see if the power brick would work with the One, but I found no information on it. Do any of you happen to know if it works?

Xbox 360 Slim won't turn on at all. Broken already?

I already tried this my friend. Didn't help me. Only thing I still have to do is swap my power brick with a friend's power brick. If that doesn't work, then I'm stuck

Hi I can't see you being able get it replace free however please see below for guidance on how to purchace one.

If you click on the Support tab at the top of the web page then click on All Support, Repair & Service Centre (at the bottom of the page), Replace an Accessory, Xbox One, Power Supply, Next.

If your Xbox One does not appear on the list you will need to register the device.

like hds1972 said go to the support page and get a replacement.

If you cant find your way to support page, go to the following link it will take you to support page and lick on Replace an Accessory. It will cost you $35 if its not covered under Warranty.

The third party power bricks work it just finding the right one to get since there more than 1 company that makes them also you cant really find original power brick since there so many fake look ones and Microsoft doesn't sale them anymore

Microsoft doesn't support power brick anymore also when i search the third party bricks i check for good reviews since the companys release new fix power bricks also the bricks are global universal so thers post to work on all the original xbox one's

That sounds... odd. The power brick doesn't have an on/off switch and the console's "switch" is really just a power switch relay like a PCs, not an actual power on/off switch.

The power brick isn't user servicable, like most PC power supplies. I assume you've tried swapping power bricks with a working console to see if the problem is the brick or the console?

Sounds like your power brick needs to see a doctor. Contact Xbox Support for an appointment

An Xbox 360 slim console and Xbox 1 console are suppose to be whisper quiet meaning it shouldn't create noise which bothers you (doesn't mean it will be silent).

My power brick is this loud:

Is the power supply the ac adapter?

Yes, I was referring to the power brick, which is essentially part of the ac adapter. It's a two part tool as you can see they can be disconnected, and if one doesn't work or is bad, then the whole thing
doesn't allow power to travel. I feel at this point that you may need another replacement power brick for your Xbox 360.
