    Xbox 1 not downloading games on internal storage...


    For my Xbox 1 I use an external storage to hold most games however on my Internal storage I keep certain games (let's use Minecraft as an example) well Minecraft is downloaded on my Internal storage. I go to update Minecraft but it won't update (I have game pass so I can download it without disk) but the game won't update however the games on my external storage will update... basically I can't update games that are on my Internal storage so what's the issue?

    is this the case even if you have downloaded the game to the xbox internal storage and not to the attached external drive?

    This happened to me about 1 month ago. I would like to know what's the cause of this error. My internal storage was unformatted before I couldn't download, so I think it was the unformatted internal storage that causes the problem. I recommend watching,
    How to Fix "System Update Failed" - Any Status Code (Xbox 360) by MrMario2011. It didn't work for me because I think it was my unformatted internal storage. Check the video out on Youtube.

    Yes but there is someone who is helping me on the Xbox discord server saying that “Xbox (2001) and Xbox 360 games are all on internal storage I’m pretty sure” so I’m moving 1 game from internal storage to extender storage then move my xbox (2001) game to the internal storage I’ll see if that works if it does then my issue has been solved if not then I still need help. And for the link where it shows the error code the error code I got is not showing from there, so the link is irrelevant to me.
