    Xbox 1 mic - mute won’t go off


    my son got a new xbox 1 for christmas and the mic is muted. We have 3 other controllers (my older sons xbox controllers) and none of them will allow the mic to work! We have tried suggestions from other threads but nothing works. It cant be that all 4
    controllers are broken - 2 are brand new! Can you help?

    hi there make sure the controller is updated in settings and accessories also make sure you allow the privacy of the microphone start a party and see if the icon around his gamer pic lights up.

    which headphones you bought? just in case, I recommend you update your pad with a usb wire to your console. then I would say even to even try to change the sound settings in the console sound system headphones.

    We need Microsoft headsets - the new update means that our headsets dont work. This information came from Xbox support. This may be helpful for other users to know as ita not commonly known!
