    XBox 1 keeps turning on by itself


    For the past few weeks, our Xbox 1 keeps turning on by itself. It happens several times a day (and overnight).

    I have tried hard reboots, holding power button for 30 seconds ... out of ideas.

    Please help!

    Xbox keeps turning on by itself

    just about everyday after im done playing my xbox it will turn itself back on within 30 minutes if it being on. Its annoying as hell because it makes the loud ass startup and the light turns on interrupting my sleep. This has been going on for awile now
    and it hasnt stopped. PLEASE HELP

    Thanks for your reply, I have not had any more issues since moving the hdmi cable further away. so I am guessing that was the problem.

    I think I've fixed this it may have been an hdmi cable running close bye and giving off an electrical field that effected the sensitive on button. I'll know over the next couple of days.

    We'll i tried your theory with hdmi cable removed it fine for a few days now today decided to turn itself on again support not much help only a few weeks old so back to shop ps4 for me had enough of xbox bull

    I had same issue, then i got to thinking how the disc drive works. When you insert a disc a tiny sensor "sees" the disc and begins pulling it in. So i blew on disc opening and am having no problems. If said sensor has debris ie dust then it will think you
    are always trying to insert disc.

    Mine will occasionally do this, mostly when I'm about to sleep. I just power it off or leave it alone.
    Do you have it on energy saving or instant on?
