Xbox 1 game party’s

Have you tried checking 1 the party to make sure your not turned off or 2 the voice option when your headset is plugged in all the way at settings you might of accidentally turned yourself off

Party Chat ought to work just like Xbox 360's Xbox Live Party Chat.

On Xbox 360, an Xbox Live Party is where a group of up to 8 people (regardless if on each others friends lists or not) can get together in a party, and participate in chat, while everyone and anyone in that party, can play ANY game and ANY app and even be
on the Dashboard, and still be easily to participate in the party, along with everyone else in the party.

On Xbox 1, Party Chat shouldn't be restricted to which games or apps or what others in that party, are doing on the Xbox 1 console. Granted, Xbox 1 is only 13 months old, and XBL has been subject to at least two denial of service attacks by a group of hackers
(it's on Google and has been on Australian TV news). This is what makes Xbox Live Party on Xbox 360 magic. It doesn't have the Dashboard issues which Xbox 1 is having. So I expect a next gen console with 300,000+ Xbox Live servers and better hardware, to be
able to do this.

I was able to start a Party Chat on my Xbox 1 console this week and last week though. One of Xbox Live's key Xbox Live Features isn't only about games, but about SOCIAL as well. That's why Voice Messaging and Picture Messaging are Xbox Live Feature options
on ways to send messages over XBL on an Xbox 360 console.

It is possible that you could've been banned for some reason. Are you still having this issue?

My account is doing this too, it is very frustrating. I checked all my settings and everything appears to be good. I removed my account from the xbox and relinked it and still no go. I am in a party by myself and it says "your privacy settings prevent chat
with some people", and it says this when I am in a party with my friends. When I sign into a different profile on the same xbxo, I do not have the issue. Please help (and by help I mean help..... not just copy and paste a link to support website that has no
information on this issue). Thanks
