Hello, perform a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on. The system will turn off. When you hit the button again, it will start and display the green start-up screen. All your data is preserved, but cache is cleared
and some settings are reverted and log-in or game start issues are resolved.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue preventing you from installing Fortnite.

If you're having problems installing your game, I would suggest trying the steps we have on our page entitled Troubleshoot game or app installation problems
on Xbox One.

If that doesn't help, I found that there's little trick that resolves a bunch of general problems that you may have concerning your console. When you get a chance to goSettings>Disc & Blu-ray>Blu-ray>Persistent storage
and clear it 3 times. After doing that, go to Settings>Network>Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address
and clear that alternate MAC. The console will say it needs to restart to apply the change, so let it do that and then try to install the game again.

When I have this issue, I have to uninstall the game, Then clear local saved games and the MAC address before trying the install again. That seems to work 99.9% of the time.
