You can get two configurations for the Elite controller, you'll see the switch in the middle so you can change it.

When using the accessories app you can edit both configurations for your personal play style and what you feel is best for you. My 1st configuration is to adapt to most FPS shooters so I can use the A and B buttons as paddles, so I can use the thumb sticks
all the time along with the hair-triggers and thumb stick curve being instant and the second for Racing.

It's a matter of personal preference and how you as a player navigate a game, it may take a while, but you will find the right layout for yourself.

that was one of the 1th places I looked. But it no good to my, the only way I may be able to be it is by trial and save only the ones the for bester form the defout settings for all my games.

there are 2 places to check for the Headset volume settings.

there is a Chat Mixer which sets up the mix of game and chat volume balance and there are the audio settings.

do both headsets work on the Xbox that 1 works on?

if they do, pair the controller from the Xbox they don't work on with the Xbox they do work on and see if both headsets work on that controller.

if they do try both controllers and headsets on the Xbox they weren't working on.

if they don't then it should help narrow it down to the Xbox, 1 of the controllers or 1 of the headsets.

or see if you can get a repair/replacement on the faulty item.

Thank you for reaching out! The fastest way to change the language on your console would be to go in to you Settings. From there simply head on over System and you should have an option to change the Language and Location. I accidently set one of my Xbox
One's to Japanese and found navigating the menus pretty much impossible. For this I had to access the troubleshooting menu and perform a factory reset (while keeping my games and apps of course)

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button, and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
