Xbox 1 download speeds are a joke.

So im having issues download a update for Halo 5. Its stuck at 87% been like that since yesterday. This is a joke when i compare speed tests between my Xbox 1 and Ps4 my Ps4 fast by almost 3MBs. My Xbox 1 cant even register a 1MB its less then 1MB while
my Ps4 Gets 5MBs or more. What a joke. Seriously im starting to regret my purchase of a Xbox 1 as my second go to console. Xbox 1 is a waste of my time and money.

xbox download dropping out since last xbox update!

Since the last update, the download keeps rubberbanding (dropping out) all friends on xbox are getting the same issue. can others please check this and report it as game are getting serious lag spikes plus download speeds of games etc are a joke.

Day Zero? What a joke...

What a joke is right. I stood in line to pick up my preordered Call of Duty Xbox 1. It has been over an hour and the download is still at 1%. What is the point of 24 hour early access if it take 20 hours to download the game. I know it isn't my interne speed.
Extremely frustrated, Xbox and COD really dropped the ball here.

I would recommend having a wired connection if possible. What type of internet speeds are you suppose to get? I pay my internet provider for 110Mbps download. On my Xbox ONE I get roughly 105Mbps download wired and wiresless I get about 100Mbps. The Xbox
ONE is capable of higher speeds. Are you wireless or wired?

Also the Qos is important are you using a wireless n or sharing with the dorm or congested network like cable best option do a speediest on your line

Check for nat warnings you could be blocked important ports

The wireless signal is also important since the old standards can play havoc on speeds the xbox can only connect via the fastest link on your router

If it's only g speeds you need to upgrade your router

Wireless n Ac is a nice standard but your line type and if you backgrounding the downloads affect it no matter what system you use

Cable can get congested or if your isp throttles gaming ports or even your speed it could affect you drastically

downloads" and that "it should improve in a week or so."
