Xbox 1 controller.

I'm a big fan of the Xbox one and purchased one about a year and half ago. I love what you guys have done with the system but there are some issues that many people would agree with me. Within the first few months, I have no problem playing the xbox and
about 4 months later. My controller RT button works about 50% of the time and I consider myself to not be a heavy gamer. I play for like 30 mins-1 hour each day just to take my mind off school/things. So when I play game and my RT button does not work, I had
to go buy a new one. The controller had no damage because I take care of my items since I'm a big fan of Microsoft products (apple hater). At that time I was very disappointed and thought it was my luck with a bad controller. I bought another controller, play
about a month and didn't play xbox one until 3 days ago when I got home from school. During that 3-4 months, I didn't play my xbox because my school schedule was super busy. So today I play Destiny on xbox 1 and realized this time my RB works about 25%-50%
of the time. I was very disappointed and furious at the same time because I do not want to spend money and buy another controller since I'm a very broke college student. Well I'm just writing this email is not to complain but just to express my opinion of
how uncertain/fragile/unreliable the controllers are and wonder if we can do anything about that like getting warranty or something. Also my roommate has a xbox 1 and has 4 controllers. 2 of them have something wrong with them.


I know this email does not carry any weight but as a loyal customer I’m asking for this message to pass along the top officials: please help us make the controller more reliable. I am truly a big fan of the Xbox 1 and this is the only problem I have experience
so far.

Xbox 1 Controller

Hi KidMcCoy1228 please try the steps below and hopefully you should be able to get the controller updated and back up and running.

1. Remove any batteries from the controller

2. Power down the console by holding the power button for 5-10 seconds

3. Unplug the power supply from the console and wall outlet and leave everything unplugged for 1 minute

4. Plug the power supply back in (leave controller unplugged for now) and wait for console to boot

5. Once on the Home screen, plug controller in via USB and leave it alone for 2 minutes

6. Run controller update again (even if option is greyed out, attempt to select it and update again)

 

Xbox 1 Controller

So I went to update my xbox 1 controller and it got to 3% and i got a failed to update message and now my controller wont turn on at all I've tried a number of thing nothing is working.
